The school’s admissions policy is in line with guidance from the Department of Education and with Government policy in that priority will be given to children whose parent/s are in receipt of Income Support or Job Seekers Allowance. This policy applies to all Nursery schools. Application forms will be distributed to parents in the month of January and following the closing date, the Selection Advisory Committee of the school Governors will meet to allocate places in accordance with the Admissions arrangements. Upon notification of an offer of a place, parents should return an acceptance / refusal slip within ten days. It is the responsibility of parents to provide all relevant information in relation to the application, including the child’s birth certificate. The form should also be taken to the Social Security office to be stamped confirming eligibility for Income Support/Job Seekers Allowance (if applicable).

When parents confirm their intention to accept an offered place, a meeting will be held in May of that year to inform them about rules, routines, policies, procedures, curriculum etc.
